Description

Hyrax is Zoologist Perfumes' tribute to the African rock hyrax and the rugged cliffs it inhabits. Built around the legendary hyraceum accord (African Stone), the fragrance captures the scent of sun-warmed rocks, dry earth, smoky resins, and untamed wilderness.

The composition opens with spicy pink pepper, saffron, elemi, and Turkish rose before revealing smoky whiskey, styrax, hyacinth, and the distinctive mineral richness of African Stone. A deep base of castoreum and civet accords, amber, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, and tonka bean leaves behind a rich, leathery, smoky trail with exceptional depth.
